Here is a few ways to create these magnets :

Fist Way To Create Bottle Cap Magnets

This is simple and straight forward way , good for beginners

Materials

  • Bottle caps – Make sure to remove them from the bottle carefully so the sides don’t get bent much
  • 3/4 inch diameter magnets
  • Hot glue gun

Directions
Before you start making your magnets, make sure to wash your bottle caps.

Turn the bottle cap upside down and squirt in some hot glue. Carefully, I repeat, carefully, place the magnet into the hot glue. It’s called hot glue for a reason. You don’t want to burn your fingers. Let the glue cool completely.

Your kitschy, upcycled magnets are ready to go up on the fridge.

You can create various bottle caps designs too,  paint in different colors for example

Second Way To Create Bottle Cap Magnets

This a bit more complex way but result will be very sleek and neat

Materials:

  • Strong glue/ Hot gun glue
  • Round Magnets
  • Modge Podge
  • Modge Podge Resin /any transparent resin
  • Paint brush
  • Paper designs

1)Glue Your magnets on bottle caps  with hot glue gun and wait until dry .

2) Get some paper designs, or print some pictures of your pets or anything fun !You can place even dry flowers into bottle caps.

If you choose to use paper design then cut out circles to fit into bottle caps. Glue these to your bottle cups with  brush and modge podge

A tip :Be sure to  have a good seal between the paper
and the bottom of the cap, if there is some hollow spaces ,the resin can sunk  and bubbles and cracks  can appear on the surface later !

3) Once it dries fill each cap to the tippy top with resin /Modge Podge Resin .Once the caps are full of the resin, they must sit on a flat surface  for 24 hours to solidify.

If you’ve got a creative spirit ,then you could make a step above and create your own unique bottle cap art !Which will be a perfect gift for your friends!
