DIY Bird Feeder Ideas

Feed the tiny birds that hop into your garden making it look beautiful and bright, by providing food in feeders. You can make your own bird feeder at home with help of little things that are already at home. These feeders will attract many tiny birds to your garden making them look pretty than ever, or you are even hanging it near the windowsill.

Old light chandelier feeder:

This is an old light chandelier where you can replace the bulbs to feeds by filling each of the holders with grains. These grains in the chandeliers will help birds to sit on them comfortable and have food at their convenience.

Canister bird feeder:

Make use of empty food canisters or cat food canister to make a bird feeder that will look nice in your garden. You can simply pierce holes in the cans and hang it with help of a rope, yarn or with colorful ribbons, or try out something creative like this.

Making a bird feeder out of a pinecone is very simple as you can apply some peanut butter on the cones and then roll it over the grains and they will stay secure on the pinecones that are ready to be hung on the tree branches.

Similar to the pine cones you can also apply peanut butter on top of the toilet paper rolls to make a feeder.
